Fall is the perfect time to bring some of the darker, earthy colors back into your makeup looks. Using the new Aveda Fōklôr Autumn/Winter 2016 Makeup Collection, Aveda Artistic Director Janell Geason demonstrates techniques to intensify eyes with a rare shade of rose.
Begin the risør rose look by starting with a luminous complexion with mineral tinted moisture, concealer and translucent powder. Contour the outer and inner corners of the eye with the Chia shade of eyeshadow. Brush the same shade along the lower two-thirds of the lash lines stopping just before the inner corner of the eye. Blend in Rose Quartz shadow into the Chia while filling in the center of the eyelids. Define the eyes entirely with Black Orchid eyeliner pencil, creating a slight wing at the outer corners. Soften the liner with a smudger brush.
Sweep the lashes with Black Forest Mosscara for thick conditioned lashes from root to tip. Add a soft glow to the cheeks by dusting on the Tesserae shades of Petal Essence color palette. Finish off the look, press Pink Lupine lipstick into the center of the lips.
